Coming in January 2017, Futbol Niagara is leading the way with a comprehensive training program led by Dana Heimbecker. Athletic development by Heimbecker includes Functional Range Conditioning; Mindful Meditation & Breathing; Mobility/Stretching; Speed; Agility & Quickness; Soccer Skill Training and Strength & Conditioning.
A graduate of Sports Marketing & Management at Marshall University in West Virginia, the Niagara Falls Trainer operates his business there. As a strength and conditioning coach Heimbeker operates “Athletic Development by Dana Heimbercker” and has also created a “Flow within Movement” all about the exploration of discovering one’s life journey to feel and connect to the inner self. Through that initiative, Heimbecker seeks create a community to inspire, share positive vibes and promote the love of movement to everyone.
Futbol Niagara promises “measurable success” for participants of the clinic through biomechanical analysis and high performance testing at the beginning and end of the program. With a focus on skills, fitness and core strength the Athletic Development Clinic will complement Futbol Niagara’s commitment to offering clinics and training that benefits its club members as they progress as athletes.

About Futbol Niagara
Futbol Niagara is a new organization specializing in the sport of 5 on 5 Futsal.
All teams are sanctioned under the banner of the Niagara Soccer Association, a non-profit organization that operates programs for the region’s youth.
Our teams (U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18 & our Men’s futsal teams) are composed of players from all areas of the Niagara Region. For the 2016 winter season we have planned 3 tournaments that will allow our teams to participate in competitions across Southern Ontario, a showcase tournament in USA, as well as one of the largest tournaments in Canada called Ontario Futsal Cup and The Umbro Futsal Cup in May 2016.
Futbol Niagara Futsal Club offers local businesses and service clubs the opportunity to become associated with the organization by way of sponsorship.
Dana was drawn to the world of Martial Arts where he obtained his black belt in Katsudo te Jitsu at the age of 10 in 1995. Dana’s constant work ethic to get better, lead him to a division one NCAA athletic scholarship in the Conference USA at Marshall University in Huntington West Virginia. Dana’s soccer career led him to play professional in Belgium and then to Germany to partake in professional trials.
In 2010,Dana flew to Mexico to obtain his Yoga-Alliance 200 hour (RYT-200) Teacher Certification from the Yandara-Yoga Institute, enabling him to expand his skill set and teach yoga to others.
Over the years, Dana’s completed certifications as Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist (FRCms),in USA Weightlifting Sport Performance Level 1 and in Poliquin International Certification Program Level 2 certifications (PCIP-2).
Shortly after completing Functional Range Conditioning FRC® certification, Dr. Andreo Spina (founder) hired Dana as a Functional Range Conditioning FRC® instructor to assist in the delivery of certification courses around the world.
Dana works as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Niagara Ice Dogs (OHL). He has guided professional (AHL, NHL and MLS), collegiate and amateur athletes through designed movement sessions and periodized programs. Dana also currently works as Head Coordinator of Athletic Development for No Limit Performance Basketball, alongside Skills Coach, Mihai Raducanu.
